This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through digiscaler.in and our services, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect only the information needed to provide our services:

• Order and account details: name, email address, mobile number, company or business name, domain name, postal address, city, state, PIN code and (optionally) GST number, which you enter at checkout.
• Contact enquiries: your name, email, phone and the message you send us through the contact form, email or phone.
• Domain searches: the domain names you type into our domain search box.
• Technical data: basic information such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, which our web servers record automatically for security and troubleshooting.
• Hosting content: files, databases and emails you store on our servers. We treat this as your private content and do not access it except as described in Section 5.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To process orders, create and manage your hosting and domain services, and send invoices and service notices.
• To respond to support requests and enquiries.
• To send you payment links, renewal reminders and important account or security alerts.
• To prevent fraud, abuse, spam and security incidents, and to enforce our Terms & Conditions.
• To meet legal, tax (including GST) and accounting requirements.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Domain Search

When you search for a domain name, the name is checked against public DNS and domain registry (RDAP) services such as Cloudflare DNS, Google Public DNS and rdap.org to find out whether it is available. These services may receive the domain name and your IP address as part of the lookup. Please do not enter anything other than a domain name into the search box.

5. Sharing of Information

We share personal information only when necessary:

• Payment providers: when online payments are enabled, payments are handled by third-party payment gateways. We do not store your card, UPI PIN or net-banking credentials on our servers.
• Domain registrars and registries: registering a domain requires submitting the registrant details to the relevant registrar or registry, and some of it may appear in public WHOIS/RDAP records unless privacy protection applies.
• Service providers: data centre, email and software vendors who help us run the service, under confidentiality obligations.
• Legal and safety: where required by law, court order or government authority, or to protect our rights, customers or the public.

6. Data Security and Retention

Our servers are located in India-based data centres. We use SSL/TLS encryption on our website, access controls, malware and DDoS protection, and regular backups. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We keep order and billing records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet tax, accounting and legal requirements. Other personal data is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed.

7. Cookies

Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies at present. Your browser or our servers may use basic technical cookies or logs required for the site to work and stay secure. If we add analytics or marketing tools in future, we will update this policy.
